While I was contemplating the name for my business, I was, simultaneously, working on a logo design. The design needed to be symbolic of music and of me. The logo had to be simple and I wanted it in black & white.
I settled on the treble clef. The treble clef is probably one of the most well known symbols in music. It was also the very first staff that I learned to read. It comprises most of what I do in music. It often contains the melody line for piano or electronic keyboard and for voice (singing). I chose the dove with the olive branch in its mouth, seen in my logo above, to represent the idea of peace. I want my studio to be a peaceful place for learning, a safe place of learning. Peace helps to create hope for music mastery. Hope, in turn, can contribute to the potential joy experienced during that journey toward music mastery. If you enjoyed this article, let me know.
