While I was contemplating the name for my business, I was, simultaneously, working on a logo design. The design needed to be symbolic of music and of me. The logo had to be simple and I wanted it in black & white.
I settled on the treble clef. The treble clef is probably one of the most well known symbols in music. It was also the very first staff that I learned to read. It comprises most of what I do in music. It often contains the melody line for piano or electronic keyboard and for voice (singing).
I chose the dove with the olive branch in its mouth, seen in my logo above, to represent the idea of peace. I want my studio to be a peaceful place for learning, a safe place of learning. Peace helps to create hope for music mastery. Hope, in turn, can contribute to the potential joy experienced during that journey toward music mastery.
